I was trained as a biochemist and enjoy capturing the unusual amongst the common, using the scientific approach to identify interesting perspectives. My photographic vision is spurred by taking a fresh and sometimes contradictory perspective on common subjects using angles, lighting and distance to create dynamic images. I have explored a wide variety of styles and subjects and don’t tie myself to any particular style or format, but tend to energized by abstracts and macro photography along with exploring topics and techniques that I haven’t worked with before. I have spent much of the last several years honing my portrait skills while continuing to build my abstract and macro portfolio.
